Royal Jordanian Air Academy

Royal Jordanian Air Academy (RJAA) was established in 1966, RJAA stands as the regional leader in flight training, to become the first and largest flight academy in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). RJAA is certified by the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC) which is recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), in accordance with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Regulations. RJAA’s graduates have the opportunity of joining international airlines, which reflects the high standards that RJAA has been known to offer. In addition to its main campus in Amman Civil Airport-Marka, RJAA has established another campus in the southern city of Aqaba in Jordan which has given it more flexibility in training its students all around the year.

RJAA Mission: To complement the service and training objectives of the academy by:

  • Providing training, care, and advising for the trainees, staff, faculty, and community members.
  • Utilizing culturally and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Serving as a role in the aviation community to develop highly qualified pilots and engineers.
  • Train and qualify students to the standards to provide local and international airlines with highly qualified graduates.
  • Train and qualify Students in advanced flying courses ATP, CFI, CFII, and Recurrence.
  • Train and qualify students to the level of B1.1 and B2 (Mechanical and Avionics) standard to provide local and international airlines with highly qualified technicians.
  • Train and qualify pilots, engineers, and technicians by attending advanced refresher courses.
