To register, you must already hold a teaching certificate in Canada and have at least two years of teaching experience in Canada. Most of the people who take this training are Canadian teachers who want to supplement their knowledge in areas such as school administration, inclusion or psychological support.

Program overview
Our post-baccalaureate degree in education (DPBE) is a short 30-credit program offered on a part-time basis. It stands out for its flexibility, because we know your teaching schedule is busy! It allows you to broaden your knowledge and keep abreast of new educational developments. You can choose one of the four specializations listed below, or tailor your program. It should be noted that the specialization in inclusive education is fully achievable online.

- School administration
- School counseling
- Inclusive education (fully achievable online, if desired)
- Language, literacy and curriculum
- Basic French teaching (for divisional cohort)
Choose your areas of interest from a variety of over 60 courses: inclusive education, personnel administration, facility management, career guidance, counseling techniques, intercultural education, etc.
Additional information
You can register at our Summer Institute for an intensive week of classes in July. You may receive credits for this training as part of the post-baccalaureate in education. Our flexible program offers a specialization in inclusive education achievable entirely online. Our program is open to people residing outside of Manitoba, but find out about the conditions of practice in your area.

Continuing Studies
Certain courses in our post-baccalaureate diploma may count towards obtaining a specialized diploma, whether in special education, school counseling or school leadership.
If you plan to pursue higher education after post-baccalaureate education, we offer the master's degree in education, with four specialization choices.
