Introduction
Do you want to be a Spanish Teacher? Are you already a Teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language? We offer Teacher Training courses both during the academic year and in the summer, courses that can fit your needs and interests. From Introductory courses to those focused on one single aspect of Foreign Language Teaching, such as the use of Film in the Language Classroom, or the role of multimodal learning in the use of ICTs.
Curriculum
Summer intensive Professional Development courses for Teachers
Teaching Spanish EL AULA EN EL MUNDO (REDES SOCIALES, RECURSOS AUDIOVISUALES Y MEDIOS DE COMUNICACIÓN EN LA CLASE ELE)
The course provides the participants with essential tools, resources, and didactic proposals to teach foreign languages as part of an integrated, inclusive, critical, and transformative education.
The course is designed in the form of three independent, but complementary workshops, all of them classroom-oriented, where reflection and negotiation lead to activities, tasks, and projects they can adapt/create with/for their students. You can take one course (20 hours/week), combine any two courses (40 hours/2 weeks) or take all three of them (60 hours/3 weeks) and enjoy field trips, hands-on experiences included in the program (visit to social justice-oriented media company and studio, visit Civil War shelters).
