Restaurant management programs may give students a wide knowledge of administrative duties, organizational skills, and protocols. Restaurant managers learn to attend to customers’ needs and can take charge of hiring and training new workers. Managers are often in charge of employee payroll.

An associate degree is an undergraduate degree that typically awarded by community colleges, technical colleges and 4-year colleges. If pursued on a full-time basis, an associate degree usually takes two years to obtain.
 

Part-time learning allows one to obtain a degree or qualification even if one cannot attend school on a full-time basis. One can learn at one's own pace, gradually accumulating credits that count towards a final qualification.
