Introduction
If you’re interested in a business career or just want to give your current career a boost, Wor-Wic offers various options. Our business programs can prepare you for a business career, help you fine-tune your current business skills, or prepare you to transfer to a business program at a four-year college or university.
This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to start their own business or obtain a job as supervisors or middle managers in the public or private sectors. Graduates of this program should be able to:
- Describe activities occurring within the basic functions of a business;
- Create and communicate written and oral reports for internal and/or external stakeholders;
- Demonstrate business skills and knowledge in a workplace setting and exhibit professional behaviors as per the standards of the respective agency; and
- Demonstrate social media communication, planning, execution, and assessment skills.
