At this full-time one-year filmmaking course you will learn practically to develop your filmmaking skills. We will teach you everything to kick off your career in the professional film industry. Studying Filmmaking in Prague is cheap compared to other EU capitals. It is a clever and more affordable way to reach a Filmmaking Bachelor’s degree from The United Kingdom, USA, or any other country.  Film Internship We provide an opportunity for filmmaking internships on professional film sets for all our students enrolled in year-long filmmaking programmes. The filmmaking internship will grow your network of all-important contacts in film pre-production, production, or post-postproduction and set you apart in a very competitive career field. We will give you a position based on your skills from taking part in casting, location scouting, prop management to hands-on experience on set as camera assistance, production assistance or assistant director, and many more. Industry Networking At Prague Film Institute you will be introduced to film industry professionals who can have game-changing roles in your future career. You will get a chance to visit their companies and take part in the professional filmmaking workflow. Explore our industry-based activities which will help to expand your professional network while you are still studying. Graduation Film Your goal is to make at least 1 festival-worthy film with a minimum length of 7 minutes at the end of the programme. Film equipment, essential production cost, and professional post-production facilities are included. For the shooting of the film, which could take up to 5 days, you will be provided with filmmaking gear in the value of more than 90 000 USD. Available equipment includes the following cinema cameras Alexa Amira, RED Monstro, Sony F55, and many more. What to Bring We recommend that all new Prague Film Institute students purchase their own personal laptops for self-guided learning and post-production practice. Our goal is to teach students how to use their own computers for high-quality results. Make sure that you choose a laptop that meets the minimum recommended specifications.
